Interior

Check all windows and doors to ensure they are locked, secured and show no signs of vandalism or interior leaks
Visual check for signs of water damage, mold and mildew

Check for evidence around sinks, toilets and hot water heater for signs of leaks or mildew damage
Check and flush toilets and run water in sinks, tubs and showers.
Physically inspect drains for water in all sinks, toilets and laundry sink
Run garbage disposal
Check the hot water heater for any signs of leakage
Visual inspection of evidence of pest, rodents or bugs
Check thermostat and test AC system
Check the electrical box for tripped breakers
Check refrigerator and freezers for property temperature and operation
Make sure icemaker is in Off position
Reset clocks after power outage
Water indoor plants
Check garage area and make sure the door is in operable condition and secured
Check and replace bulbs*
Replace smoke alarm batters*
Replace air-conditioning filters*

Pre-Hurricane Defense and Storm Services

Removal of all lanai/patio furniture
Removal of other items around your home that could cause damage to property

Install and secure hurricane shutters
Post-Hurricane Services
Replace lanai/patiofurniture
Replace all items around your home back to original position
Secure Shutters back into storage
Report any damage found to property
